Welcome to Litterboxer. These terms govern your use of the Litterboxer iOS app and related services operated by Bradford Operations (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Litterboxer, you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Litterboxer. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect someone else has accessed your account. One person, one account — don’t impersonate others or create accounts for people who haven’t consented.
You keep ownership of the photos, reviews, comments, and other content you post. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote Litterboxer.
You are responsible for your content. Don’t post anything you don’t have rights to share. Don’t upload photos of cats you don’t own or don’t have permission to photograph.

We may remove content, suspend, or ban accounts at our discretion for violations of these guidelines.
Every photo uploaded is scanned by an automated moderation system that checks whether it contains a cat and whether it is appropriate for a general-audience app. Photos that fail moderation are rejected and deleted. Moderation may sometimes produce false positives or false negatives; contact us if you believe a decision was incorrect.
Litterboxer Pro is a paid subscription sold via the Apple App Store. Billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple according to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Pro unlocks unlimited photos, Year in Cats stats, advanced filters, diary PDF export, the Pro badge, and a monthly quota of AI breed analyses.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal through your Apple ID settings. Upgrading does not grant a refund of a previously purchased term unless required by law.
Promo codes issued by us may grant one-year or lifetime Pro access. Codes are non-transferable and subject to the terms displayed when redeeming.
Breed analysis uses third-party AI (Anthropic’s Claude) and photo moderation uses third-party AI (Google’s Gemini). AI results are estimates and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on AI breed identification for medical, insurance, or adoption decisions.
You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these terms or for any reason at our reasonable discretion. Sections 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.
Litterboxer is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bradford Operations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Litterboxer. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll announce material changes in the app. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
